Obituary of Mark Wilson Frost

Mark Wilson Frost passed away on May 6, 2018, in Newton, Texas.  He was born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 20, 1960, and spent most of his youth in Southeast Texas.  He attended All Saints Episcopal School in Beaumont, Baytown High School in Baytown, Texas, and graduated from Forest Park High School in Beaumont.  Mark attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and graduated in 1983, with a degree in business management. 

After college Mark entered the construction industry in Austin, and Georgetown, and spent many years as a project superintendent.  He oversaw the construction of buildings around the country including restaurants, automobile service centers, municipal projects, car dealerships and many others. 

Mark loved his native state of Texas and was particularly fond of several areas including the Hill Country, the Big Thicket and the Rio Grande Valley.

He is survived by his wife Karry Land Frost.  He is also survived by his three children and their families, son, Robert Wilson Frost, his wife Dani Frost and their children Grayson and Juniper of Round Rock, Texas; his daughter Angela Frost McBurnett, her husband Cameron McBurnett and their son, Walker of Waco, Texas, and his son, Brian Matthew Frost of Cameron, Texas, along with their mother, Karen Sanders Frost of Georgetown, Texas. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Meyer Frost and his wife, Sherry Frost of Raleigh, North Carolina, along with their son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Ellen Frost and their son, Rich Frost.  Mark also leaves a legacy of a host of friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Wilson Frost and Ann Elizabeth Hooks Frost. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm, with the service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Hooks Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
