Obituary of Vivian Markle

Vivian Townsend Reeves Markle, 72, of Vidor, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2018. She was born June 5, 1945 in Buna, Texas to Viola and R. C. Townsend.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Markle; three brothers, Alvin Townsend, Lloyd Townsend, and Louis Townsend; and her parents, R. C. and Viola Townsend.

She was baptized on May 6, 1997 by Bro. Billy Bridges at Victory Bible Baptist Church in Vidor, Texas. Vivian was an active member of Victory Bible Baptist Church in Vidor. Vivian had a never-ending love for her family and she will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are two wonderful boys and their families; James E. Reeves and wife, Paula and son, Lil James (Pokey), Kevin W. Reeves and wife Donna and two children, Jennifer and Kevin Dean; the father of her 2 boys and his wife, Everette and Mary Reeves; one brother, Robert Townsend of Plant City, Florida, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Farmer Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2018 at Farmer Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Carl Green. Interment will be at Cunningham Cemetery in Silsbee.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lil James Reeves, Kevin Dean Reeves, Danny Mitchem, David Tsan, Calvin Granger and Blake Kroner.
