Obituary of Marilyn Winnell Vance

Marilyn Winnell Vance, 77, of Silsbee, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at a Beaumont area hospital. She was born in Clarks, LA and graduated from Pineland High School. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her plants and flowers. She loved to entertain and she was always hosting the family get-togethers at her home. She was a great cook, and everyone loved her chocolate pies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Paul Vance; parents, Ira and Janice Brown; sister, Betty Fort; brothers, Bobby Brown, and Ira Allison Brown, Jr.; and granddaughter, Alissa Bonvillion.

She is survived by her loving children, Billy Vance and wife, Veronica of Silsbee, Dana Rowland of Lumberton, and Jacob Paul Vance and wife, Danielle of East Rutherford, NJ; grandchildren, Hilary Stevens and husband, Chris of South Boston, VA, Billy Paul Vance of Silsbee, Katie Dawkins and husband, Matthew of Fountain, CO, Jared Bonvillion and wife, Letha of Silsbee, Michael Rowland of Orange, and Eden Rowland of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Corbin Stevens, Holden Stevens, Issac Stevens, Cole Stevens, Josiah Stevens, Gabriel Dawkins, and Madison Bonvillion; sister, Annie Lue Mercer and husband, Bob of Grayson, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In honor of her wishes, there are no planned funeral services.
