Obituary of Charles Dean Gober

Charles “Dean” Gober, 59, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at a Beaumont area hospital. Dean retired from the U. S. Army after proudly serving his country for 22 years. He loved working on electronics, is it was broken he would figure out a way to fix it. Dean had a very caring heart for people. He was an awesome, son, brother, husband, father, and Gramps.

Dean was preceded in death by his father, Herschel Gober; mother, Emma Gober Zamorano; and in-laws, Connie and Julia Olive.

Dean was survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Patricia Gober of Lumberton; children, Jessica Wade and husband, Matthew of Euless, TX, Willie Finch of Beaumont; siblings, Lisa Pate of Euless, TX, Bilinda Gober of Bedford, TX, and Dwayne Gober and wife, Debbie of South Lake, TX; grandchildren, Jaylan, Adam, Jr., Jaydon, Cheyanne, Jeremiah, Chase, Corey, Christian, and Kortney; best friend, Tim Boyd and wife, Katie of Hays, KS; numerous nephews and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Sheppard Drive Baptist Church, 219 N. Sheppard Drive, Euless TX, with Pastor James Schoenrock officiating.
