Obituary of Wilma Diane Kelly

Wilma Diane Kelly, 74, of Buna, Tx, passed away July 11, 2018. Diane was born December 21, 1943, to Morris and Rubye Wood of Kirbyville, TX.

Diane owned and operated Our Place Cafe in Buna, for many years. She was a loving part of her community and served up as many warm hugs as she did delicious meals. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Rubye Wood and her son, Lanny (Jake) Kelly.

Diane is survived by her husband of 58 years, Weldon Kelly Sr.; sons, Weldon Kelly Jr. and Jeffrey Kelly of Buna; sisters Marcia Crow of Lufkin, TX, and Melissa Townsend of Warren, TX; brothers, Rickey Wood of Silsbee, TX, and Larry Wood of Kirbyville, TX; grandchildren, Melody Campbell (Dennis) of Silsbee, TX, James Kelly of Buna, TX, Justen Kelly (Ashli) of Silsbee, TX, Holly Gathright (Chris) of Buna, TX, Jennifer Keelin, Meghan Haston; 16 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Farmer Funeral Home, 415 N. 4th Street, Silsbee, TX.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at Buna United Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna, TX.
