Obituary of Carol Marie Roberts

Carol Marie Roberts, 72, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her home. She was born June 27, 1946 in Silsbee. She was a social worker for the Department of Human Services. She was as smart as a whip. Carol was headstrong and generous, she would give you the shirt off her back. She loved helping anybody she could. Carol loved having someone around that she could talk to, and she could visit with them for hours. Carol was funny and quirky and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roberts; sister, Gloria Barrett, brothers, Melvin Luhm, and Bobby Luhm; and parents, Paul Sr. and Mary Luhm.

Carol is survived by her nephews, Tommy Kerr and wife, Ronda of Dayton, Marc Kerr and wife, Vickie of Livingston, and Scott Kerr and wife, Terri of Splendora; numerous other family and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at Farmer Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Ray McNames. Interment will follow at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze.

Serving as pallbearers will be Marc Daniel Kerr, Scott Anthony Kerr, Melvin Earl Luhm, Jerry Galloway, and David Mills.
