Obituary of Feby Mozell Morgan

Mrs. Feby Mozell Morgan, age 85, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018.

Mrs. Morgan was born April 10, 1933, in Houston County, Texas, and had lived in Hardin County, Texas, approximately 60 years. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.  She and her husband were longtime business owners in Silsbee—having operated a real estate and insurance business, along with a bakery and flower shop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Morgan; her parents, Cash Hammons and Suzie Cartwright Hammons; and a sister, Jeanette Helton.

Her survivors include her children, Larry Morgan of Silsbee, Gloria Beason and husband Warren of Sedan, Kansas, David Morgan and wife Tracie of Silsbee, and Stephen Morgan and wife Cheryl of Pearland; grandchildren, Alana Beason, Roxanne Beason, Dylan Swartz, Kayla Beimer and husband Chris, Amy Marshall and husband Daniel, Tyler Morgan, Trent Morgan, and Christopher Morgan; a great-granddaughter, Bernadette Beimer; brothers, Thelbert Hammons, J.C. Hammons, George Albert Hammons, Bill Hammons, and Reagan Hammons; a sister, Lou Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 31, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home, located at 415 N. Fourth Street in Silsbee, Texas.

Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Garden of Memories, located at 5205 S. First Street in Lufkin, Texas.
