Obituary of Vickie Kay Williams

Vickie Kay Williams, 61, of Warren, Texas, returned home, to her heavenly Father, on November 20, 2018. Vickie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Vickie Kay (Spurlock) Williams was born September 7, 1957, in Kountze, Texas to Leon and Mary Joe Spurlock. Vickie married her loving husband, Andy Williams on September 10, 1973. She had two wonderful, and thoughtful children, Chad and Jami Kay.

Vickie was a woman of character, and admiration. She was full of life, and loved beyond measure. Vickie always looked for the good in everyone. She had a heart without limits, and to her, family was more than just blood. Vickie’s face and smile lit up the room. Her feisty, and sassy personality was revealed through her many facial expressions, and her sense of life’s purpose. She was extremely hard working, independent, strong-willed, and yet selfless. Her impeccable sense of style exuded class.

Vickie was blessed with five adoring grandchildren, which she called the “A” team. Alyssa, Andrew, Abby Marie, Anna-Claire, and Ayden. She cherished each of them, and ensured they knew she loved them to the moon and back.

Vickie is preceded in death, by the love of her life, Andy Williams; her parents, Leon and Mary Joe Spurlock, and her aunt Dorothy Blackmon. She leaves behind to celebrate her life, son, Chad Williams, from Warren, Texas, her daughter, Jami Cessac and husband Len of Kingwood, Texas; grandchildren, Alyssa Cessac, Andrew Williams, Abby Marie Williams, Anna-Claire Williams, and Ayden Cessac. Her sisters, Darlene Gray and husband Eric, of Mount Pleasant, Texas; Diane Lewis and husband Marion, of Warren, Texas, and brothers, Joel Spurlock and wife Christie, of Wildwood, Texas, and Gary Spurlock and wife Vickie, of Silsbee, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and worldwide friends.
