Obituary of Willena Lucille Moore

Mrs. Willena Lucille Moore of Warren, Texas, passed away Sunday,
December 23, 2018, in Woodville, Texas, at the age of 87 years, 11
months, and 12 days.

Mrs. Moore was born January 11, 1931, in Kentwood Louisiana, to parents
Roy Pierce and Edna Guy Pierce. A resident of Warren for 35 years, she
had formerly lived in Orange, Texas for a number of years.

Willena retired from the paper mill in Evadale, Texas. She worked there for
many years in various capacities during her tenure. She enjoyed
gardening, baking, and was a seamstress with a great love of quilting.

Her survivors include her sons, Rodney Gary of Point Blank, Texas, Jeffery
Gary of Vidor, Texas, and Stuart Gary of Warren, Texas; and a host of
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Moore; parents,
Roy and Edna Pierce; brothers, Melvin Pierce, Paul Pierce, and Ralph
Pierce; and sister, Iris Hare.

A graveside service is set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018, at
Village Mills Cemetery, located off U.S. Hwy. 69 in Village Mills, Texas, with
Bro. Jimmy J. Linn, pastor of Wildwood Baptist Church, officiating.
