Obituary of Gwendlyn DeHart

Gwendlyn DeHart of Silsbee, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Village Creek Care Center in Lumberton, Texas, at the age of 79 years, 3 months, 4 days.

Ms. DeHart, born October 20, 1939, in Silsbee, was a lifelong resident of the area. She retired from the business office of Dr. Tennison after more that 30 years of service.

Her survivors include her sons, Kevin DeHart and wife Paula of Silsbee, Texas, and Darryl DeHart of Buna, Texas; a daughter, Darlene Mannino of Minnesota; grandchildren, Justin DeHart, Jordan DeHart, and Joshua Bernard, all of Silsbee, Texas, Mark Mannino of New York, Beau Mannino and wife Krista of Minnesota, and Eric DeHart and Brittney McMickell and husband Frank, all of Buna, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brynleigh Bernard of Silsbee, Texas, Allison Mannino, Reagan Mannino, and Grayson Mannino, all of Minnesota, Kason Cauley of Silsbee, Texas, and Karson McMickell and Corbin McMickell, both of Buna, Texas; sister, Gayle Pringle of Sugar Land, Texas; and aunt, Lemoine Hooks of Silsbee.

Gwen was preceded in death by her father, who died when she was very young, Fred Ehrensberger; her parents, Choren and Ed Davis who loved her very much.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Farmer Funeral Home Chapel, located at 415 N. Fourth Street in Silsbee, Texas.

Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Farmer Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Carter officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, located on S. Third Street in Silsbee, Texas.
