Obituary of Annie Powell Bradberry

Annie Powell McDonald Bradberry, 96, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 16, 1922 in Troup, Texas. Annie lived in Lumberton for 50 years and graduated from Kountze High School. Annie held a membership at Silsbee Church of Christ. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Orland Cecil McDonald and Jewel Sessions McDonald; sisters, Ella Mae Rogers, and Frances “June” Coats; son-in-law and porch partner, Philip D. Baker; son-in-law, Lynn G. Pipkin II; daughter, Norma Gail; and an unnamed child.

Annie is survived by her son, William W. “Billy’ Bradberry and spouse, Charlene of Colmesneil, Dolores Baker of Lumberton, Barbara J. Pipkin of Rosenberg, Kathie Parker and spouse, Larry of Vidor, and Nita Campbell and spouse, E. J. of Beaumont; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Farmer Funeral Home on Wednesday April 10, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Robbie McDonald. Interment will follow at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Tantillo, Jason Barnes, Lynn G. Pipkin III, Edward Campbell III, Michael Campbell, Larry Wayne Parker, Gilbert Palmarez, and John Stockwell. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Bradberry, William “Mac” Bradberry, Justin Potter, Adam Tantillo, and Daniel Pipkin.
