Obituary of Steven Phillip Atmar
Steven Phillip Atmar, 70, of Jasper, TX, formerly of Silsbee, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019. He was born in Lufkin Texas, July 3, 1948, to the late Phillip and Vicki Atmar. Steve was a retired millwright from North Star Steel in Beaumont. He had spent the last several years living on Lake Sam Rayburn, where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his wife Tommie June “Tiny” Atmar and brother David Atmar. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Brittain and husband Jack of Hamshire, TX; step-sons, Kenny Wager and wife Sharon of Longview, Chuck Wager and wife Sandy of Silsbee, Allan Wager and wife Kelli of Centerville; seven grandchildren; brother, Richard Atmar and wife Carol of Silsbee, Rex Atmar of Buna, plus a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
