Obituary of James A. Ferguson, Jr.

James Arthur Ferguson Jr., 60, of Evadale, TX, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. He was born in Honolulu, HI, January 10, 1959, to Theresa and James Ferguson Sr. James leaves a legacy of love with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all those who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ferguson Sr.; brothers, Richard “Ricky” Ferguson and Derrell Ferguson and sister, Lani Yamashita.

Survivors include his mother, Theresa Ferguson of Silsbee; his son, Josh Ferguson and wife Amanda of
Evadale; his daughters, Julee Odom and husband Blane of Beaumont, Cindy Irvine and husband Josh of Magnolia, Rikki McBeath and husband Joel of Evadale; grandchildren Laylee Ferguson, Aiden Odom, Jonah Irvine, and Kade, Kyler, Kase McBeath; sister, Tina Ferguson of Silsbee; brother, Andy Ferguson and wife
Melissa of Moss Bluff, LA, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones left behind.

His family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Farmer Funeral Home, 415 N. 4th Street, Silsbee, TX.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at Farmer Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Roger Hoogterp. Interment will follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Day, Gary Combs, Josh Spurlock, Chance Gray, Kevin Creamer, Charles Wright, Jeff Lane and Charles Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Davenport, Robert Battle and Bruce Harvill.
