Connie I have so many fond memories of Mark. I was blessed to attend the your union in marriage, lloved playing softball and putting up with Marks many silly antics to being a part of your bringing beautiful life into this world during the birth of your son Garrett. In all sincerity, Mark will be missed! I am so happy I can know his work is now with our Lord and Savior. I am fortunate to have been a part of his life. He is greatly missed.

Mark was truly the best of us. He made me want to be a better person. A better friend. A better leader. A better Christ follower.
This world is a little darker without him in it.
I look forward to seeing Mark again.

Dear Connie,
So sorry for the loss of your husband. I know it has been a long fought battle. Even though the battle is not won the way our fleshy desires want, it was won in a far greater way that we can understand in this world. Rest assured that he is experiencing the victory far beyond our comprehension. Prayers of comfort for you and your sons during this time.
Love, Aleta Flowers

My earliest memories are of Mark and his family at Pine Forest Baptist Church and that wonderful smile. Mark was always one of the tallest in elementary and junior high and Mrs. Lindsey couldn't keep him in jeans, so she started buying them 7 or 8 inches longer than he needed at the time. I asked her once in Sunday School why Mark always wore big cuffs in his pants and she assured me that he would grow into them before the end of the year - which he did! He loved his brother Larry and the fact that he was an Aggie and he educated us all about Texas A&M complete with weekly updates on football scores - I still cannot watch an Aggie ballgame without thinking about Mark. He was the best of us during high school - kind, friendly, scholarly, athletic, and true to his faith, family and friends.

Always enjoyed being around Mark. One smart man, as an Engineer should be. Even later on, when Mark went to the home, his high spiritedness impressed me, although sometimes, I might have been a source of his aggravation. Oh well, he knew that I still loved him as a brother. I wish I would have come to know him when he was a lot younger. He always seemed to display a fiery spirit and was very fervent in his trust in our Lord. I will truly miss Mark, but I know he is healed and in Heaven now, for that I am truly thankful. Love you Mark.

How blessed you all are to have had Mark for so many years. He lived because he had so much to live for. Your family is the most inspiring we’ve ever met, exemplifying Jesus in so many ways. You’ve taught us the real meaning of love, integrity and commitment. You are the change we want to see in the world, change that brings hope and life.
Marks reward is great as he lives on in the hearts and minds of all who were blessed to cross his path.
Love and comfort to his precious family and friends, but especially to You Connie. You were apparently the wind beneath his wings!

Mark always called me "Vickie" even though my name is "Debbie". He said I reminded him of his cousin, Vickie! Anyway, I always smiled and responded to the name Vickie. He always greeted me with a smile when I would go to visit at LenRose. I also remember his love of singing especially when we would sing hymns at LenRose. I'm thankful that I got to know Mark. Blessings on your family as you celebrate his life.

Dear Connie and family, my love and prayers are with you as you start this new journey. Remember that Mark is with you in your memories.
Oh, how he will be missed. He was a fun man, crazy nut. His smile, that is what I will miss the most.
But I know I will see Mark when I make my journey home.
