Obituary of Tonya Faye Demary

Tonya Faye Demary, age 53, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 10:00AM, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas, with Brother Rocky Fondron officiating services. Interment will immediately follow services at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Tonya was born on July 14, 1965, in Silsbee, Texas to parents, Alice Yvonne (Moore) and William Bill Whitmire. She was a lifetime resident of Silsbee, Texas. Tonya met the love of her life when came to know Glen Demary. The couple shared 10 blissful years together. Tonya was a very hard worker and was very loved by everyone she met along the way. She was the manager of the Sonic in Silsbee for over 10 years and everyone, especially the kids, all loved Mrs. Tonya. Tonya had been working as the property manager and gardener for the Adams Family, owners at Leak Sealers, for the past 7 years, where she made many friends. She loved to garden and just be outside in general. Tonya also loved to fish, whether it was sitting on a bucket or deep-sea fishing, she just loved to go and enjoy it. She was a very special woman with a big heart who was one of the most genuine, caring, giving and loving people you would ever meet. Tonya was often described as, the life of the party and could make friends with anyone. She was notorious for spoiling all of her grandchildren and keeping her loving husband in line. Tonya loved all of her dogs, goats and chickens and enjoyed being able to have them. Tonya was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Tonya is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alice Whitmire; sister, Theresa Whitmire and brother, Billy Whitmire.

Tonya is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Glen Demary; daughter, Brandie Ryan and husband Richard; sons, Roger Thomas III and wife Shandale and Jacob Rice and wife Katherine; grandchildren, Roger Thomas IV, Daniel Thomas, Lillianna Ryan and Asa Ryan.
