Obituary of Zachary Tyler Buchholz

Zachary Tyler Buchholz, age 19, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019.  Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Services for Tyler will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas, with Deacon Steve Obernuefemann officiating.  Interment will immediately follow services at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee.

Tyler was born on July 24, 1999, in Beaumont, Texas to parents, Cindy Michelle (Brawley) and William Zachary Buchholz. Tyler was a 2017 graduate of Silsbee High School, where he enjoyed playing in the school band. He loved music, whether he was listening to it or making it himself.  Tyler was a strong minded and very intelligent young man that loved to learn anything science related or to do with fast cars. At any given time, he could point out a variety of different cars and tell you all about the horsepower behind the motor and all the specs about the vehicle. He also loved to play video games, go on cruises and thoroughly enjoyed eating Mexican food and pizza. Tyler recently moved to Houston, Texas and began working for the company Stronghold Roofing and Restoration. He had a pet cat, Smokey, that he loved just as much as it loved him.  Tyler has a wonderful family whom he loved very much, and they all love him beyond measure.  Tyler was a son, grandson, stepbrother and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Tyler is preceded in death be his grandfather, Robin Buchholz as well as his great-grandparents, Doug and Mildred Moore and Garland and Billie Jean Crowell; great grandparents, Frank and Mary Lou Buchholz and Leon and Altonia Brawley.

Tyler is survived by his loving parents, Cindy Faul and husband Kenward of Groves and William Zachary Buchholz of Silsbee; grandparents, Wayne and Frances Brawley of Silsbee and Missy Buchholz of Beaumont; stepsister, Callie Faul of Longview, as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
