Obituary of Brandiane Keith

Brandiane “Brandi” Keith, 48, died a peaceful death on Friday night July the 5th 2019, after being under the care of Best Hospice for approximately two years.

She attended Groves Elementary until her family bought a home in Silsbee, and graduated from Silsbee High School in 1989.

After graduation she enrolled in an EMT class and became an emergency tech. After working as a basic tech for a few years she enrolled in a para medic training class and earned her certification. For several years she worked for a number of Southeast Texas ambulance companies before she began working in the Houston area. She loved in-particular working with elderly clients, and developed a loving relationship with a number of them. After several years of being a para medic she decided she needed to take a few months off. When she returned to work she began working in the home health field. During this period of time she began having health problems, to the point where she was no longer physically able to continue working.

Brandi was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lovell and Diamond Jones Bowlin of Timpson, Texas. She also lost her paternal grandparents Curtis and Mary Keith who owned Keith’s Hardware in Groves for many years before retiring. Also preceding her in death in 1997 was Jim Tolmachoff, her step-father whom she loved very dearly. She also lost her closest and loving cousin Debbie Keith a few years later. In September of 2013, and her loving Uncle Jeffery Bowlin died at home from a sudden heart attack. He and his wife Amy resided in Dallas, Texas.

Brandi is survived by her mother, Diane Bowlin Tolmachoff of Silsbee Texas, her father, James L Keith of Dickinson, Texas, her sister Heather Anne Keith of Lufkin State School, her twin sons Roman A. Cerda and Jacob A. Cerda, plus Courtney S. Burke, Jacob’s Fiancé, whom she loved like a daughter, as well as her dear partner of 6 ½ years, all of Silsbee. She was blessed with three grandchildren. She is also survived by her aunt Joyce Bowlin Harvey, of Baton Rouge, LA, her uncles Rev. Curtis Keith and wife Barbara, of Kerrville, Texas, 5 first cousins, numerous other cousins, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations in Brandi’s memory be given to Best Hospice Care of Texas, 3120 Fannin St., Beaumont, TX 77701, or The Women and Children’s Shelter of Hardin County.

The family would like to thank her close friends and the staff of Best Hospice for the care and love they gave to Brandi during her lengthy illness. God Bless you all. We also thank Farmers Funeral Home for their assistance and kindness during this time of heartbreak of losing our beloved Brandi.

A Celebration of her life for family and friends is scheduled for Monday, July 15 at 4:00 P.M., at Freedom Fellowship Church, corner of Highways 418 and 1122 in Silsbee, Texas.
