Obituary of Tammie Sue Carter

Tammie Sue Carter, age 50, of Woodville, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019, at 10:00 AM, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas, with Chaplain Darell Patterson officiating services. Interment will immediately follow services at Jacks Cemetery in Pineland, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019, from 6:00 until 10:00 PM.

Tammie was born on January 17, 1969, in Nederland, Texas to parents, Bobbie Sue (Erwin) and Malcom Roy Carter. Tammie was a very hard worker and was very loved by everyone she met along the way. She worked as a nurse at Harbor Hospice, where she loved her job, everyone she worked with along the way, but she especially loved her patients. The love and thoughtfulness she showed to them was always reciprocated. She also had a genuine heart for animals and more specifically her own two dogs. Tammie loved her family so very much and the love they had for her was just the same. Tammie was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Tammie is survived by her daughter, Destanie Morgan Carter; mother, Bobbie Sue Carter; father, Malcom Roy Carter; step-mother, Patsy Carter; sisters, Marie Lakey and husband Adrian and June Jones and husband Jeremy; step-sisters, Regina Scarborough and husband Russell and Tammy Lynn Pisani and husband Chris, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
