Obituary of Keith Sidney Tatom, Sr.

Keith Sidney Tatom, Sr., 61, of Silsbee, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019, at his home. He was born February 20, 1958 in Port Arthur. He was an engineer for Trans Global Solutions. He liked to get out and ride his motorcycles. He enjoyed the outdoors, and he liked to hunt and fish. He was the kindest person anyone could ever know; he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a true friend. He loved his family and spending time with his son and grandkids. Keith died doing what he loved, piddling in his yard. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Fay Tatom.

Keith is survived by his son, Keith Sidney Tatom, Jr. of Beaumont; grandchildren, Zachary Lane Tatom of Beaumont, Keith Sidney Tatom, III of Silsbee, and Alyssa Michelle Tatom of Silsbee; brothers, Jerry Tatom and wife, Gay of Harrison, AR, Kenneth Tatom of Silsbee, Christopher Tatom and wife, Gina of Silsbee; and numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends at Farmer Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Farmer Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Christopher Tatom. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. at Plainview Cemetery in Pineland.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Tatom, Keith Tatom, III, Ricky Payne, Travis Marie, Michael Biggs, and Nathan Hooks. The honorary pallbearer will be Brian McNeely.
