Obituary of Robert Houston Brown

Robert Houston Brown, age 75, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at 3763 Townsend Drive, Fort Worth, Texas. 76110

Robert was born on August 14, 1944, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to parents, Many Evelyn (Purdy) and Wiley Houston Brown. He was a proud soldier in the United States Air Force from 1965-1968. While in the Air Force he served in the Vietnam War. He loved to travel, as well as photography. Robert was a son, husband, brother, uncle, niece and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; children, Melissa and Walter Dawson, Rebecca and Daniel Bonnett, Sam and Mary Brown; sister, Mary Elizabeth Tolbert; 1 grandson; 7 granddaughters; 1 great grandson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, W.H. and Mary Brown; in additon to his brother, Richard Brown.
