Obituary of Lurlene Carter

Lurlene Tillison Carter, 95, of Kountze, passed away on September 10, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Lurlene was born on December 19, 1923 in Henderson, Texas to Grady W. Tillison and Emma Dee (Stokes) Tillison.

 She is preceded in death by her husband Maresh Carter, a son Larry Carter and her two daughters Sandra Williams and Pamela Carter. 

Lurlene is survived by her sister, Gail Villalba of Florida; her brother, Bobby Tillison of Victoria; grandchildren, Lorrie Hoke and her husband Gerald of Kountze, Larry Carter Jr. of Houston, Amy Williams of Beaumont, Shawn Carter and his wife Gena of Kountze, Carrie Darby and her husband Bryan of Kountze, Shannon Overstreet and her husband David of Kountze, Jennifer Williams of Lumberton, Cory Eason and his wife Ashley of Galveston and Cody Eason and his wife Justynn of Sour Lake, as well as son in law Ted Williams of Kountze; in addition to these Lurlene had 19 great grandchildren as well as 2 great-great grandchildren. 

The funeral services for Lurlene, will be 10:00 am Monday, September 16, 2019 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze.
