Obituary of Ruby Lee White
Ruby Lee White, 93, of Silsbee Texas, passed away on September 15, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. White will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Ruby was born to Edmund Dill and Ada (Havard) Dill in Silsbee Texas on May 10, 1926. She married James White and they spent many years building a life together, traveling all over the United States before settling back in Silsbee. Ruby loved to crochet, bringing her many hours of enjoyment. She was full of life, loved to participate in ballroom dancing and won multiple trophies through the years. Ruby was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ruby will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband, James Junior White; son, Kenneth Hamilton; parents; brothers, Son Dill, and Jake Dill; sisters, Bea Ward, and Opal McMillan.
Survivors include daughters, Paula Houchin and husband Rolland, Debbie Westerman and husband Larry; son Robert Hamilton and wife Terri; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
