Obituary of Alice Earleane Dear

Alice Earleane Dear, 82, of Silsbee Texas passed away September 29, 2019. The service to celebrate Alice’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 10:00 am located at Farmer Funeral Home, officiated by Charles Dear, and Jeff Blizzard. Interment following at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. The visitation will be held October 1, 2019 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm also held at Farmer Funeral Home.

Alice was born in Spurger Texas on March 9 of 1937 to Alvin and Juanita (Winkle) Smith.

Preceding Mrs. Dear in death are her parents, Alvin and Juanita Smith; her sisters, Verlie May Smith, and Lee Barbre; her brothers, John Alvin Smith, and Arthur Smith.

Mrs. Dear is survived by her husband of more than 62 years, Billy Dear; her sisters, Jennie Hathaway, Beverly Fredieu and husband Eddie; her brother, Roland Smith; her daughter, Stacy Dear; son, Billy Dear Jr. and wife Theresa; son, Charles Dear and wife Patricia; son, Patrick Dear; 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Smith, David Smith, Benjamin Dear, Benjamin Merrit, Chris Baldwin, and Danny Fredieu.
