Obituary of Joshua Chase Conner

Mr. Joshua Chase Conner of Kountze, Texas, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019, in Kountze, Texas, at the age of 31 years, 8 months, 30 days.

Josh was born January 8, 1988, in Galveston, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Hardin County, Texas, and had worked as a diesel mechanic.

His survivors include his daughters, Amy Conner and Madison Conner; his mother, Patricia Smart; father, John Conner; grandmother, Bonnie Smart; brothers, John Conner and Justin Conner; nephews, Braydon Conner and Brantley Conner; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Jerry Von Smart; aunt, Shirley Smart Soileau; an uncle, Jerry Smart; and his sister-in-law, Ashley Conner.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 11, 2019, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home, located at 415 North Fourth Street in Silsbee, Texas.

Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Farmer Funeral Home's chapel. Interment will follow at Hooks Cemetery near Kountze, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Justin Conner, John Conner, Larry Smart, Terry Smart, Joe Smart, Otis Smart, Otis Smart Jr., and Casey Smart.
