Obituary of Samuel Wayne Denmon

Mr. Samuel Wayne Denmon of Silsbee, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019, at his residence at the age of 67.

Sammy was born February 29, 1952, in Silsbee, Texas, to parents Sam Houston Denmon and Ruby Elaine (Williams) Denmon and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He worked several years as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing along with most outdoor activities. Sammy had a heart for animals and had various pets throughout the years.

His survivors include his son, Michael Denmon and Yoly of Houston, Texas; daughters, Christy Thomas and Lee Roy of Silsbee, Texas, and Katie Denmon and Cody Jones of SIlsbee, Texas; a grandson, Evan Denmon of Houston, Texas; and his brother, Teddy Gene Denmon and Pat of Buna, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lynda Kaye Denmon; a brother, Terry Denmon; and his sister, Linda Runnels.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019, at Farmer Funeral Home chapel, located at 415 N. Fourth Street in Silsbee, Texas, with Bro. Cleve Sharp officiating. The family will begin greeting friends at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel.
